This trek gives an opportunity to experience Everest with closer view of world’s highest snow topped mountain. Also, Everest three Pass Trek is popular among adventure lovers and it gives an opportunity to witness Thame (3200m), Lungden (3800m), Renjo_la pass (5357m), Gokyo-Ri (5357m), Thangnak (4680m), Cho_La pass (5380m), Gorakshep (5170m) , Everest base camp (5400m) and to Gorakshep (5170m), Kongma-la pass (5535). During this trek you can take pleasure in seeing various floras from pine and hemlock forests at lower altitudes, fir, juniper, and birch and rhododendron woods.

Everest Three Pass Trek will constantly please with impressive mountain scenes including four of the world’s eight highest peaks- Cho Oyu (8,201m), Makalu (8,463m), Lhotse (8,516) and Everest (8,848m) and other mountains. We start the high passes trek from Lukla and continue through Namche, Thame, Renjo La pass, Gokyo Lake, Gokyo Ri, Cho La pass, Everest base camp, Kala Pathar and Kongma La pass to Chhukung where we spend a night after crossing Kongma la. The trek drops down to Dingboche, Tengboche, Namche and Lukla then flight back to Kathmandu.

Three Passes Trek in Nepal’s Everest region is amongst the Nepal adventure hiking tours. The names of the three passes in the Three Passes trek are Kongma La (5,535 meters/ 18,159 feet), Cho La (5420 meters/ 17,782 feet), and Renjo La (5,340 meters/ 17,520 feet). Three Passes Trek is also famous by the name of Everest Circuit Trek as it links the four distinct valleys of Everest region. They are Bhotekoshi, Gokyo, Khumbu, and Imja Tse.

The great highlights of the trek are to view the renowned high Himalayan peaks like Mount Everest, to witness the remote and panoramic landscape like narrow ridges, and to obtain the unique taste of nature and culture of the Himalayan range.

So, most of the trekkers who undertake Three Pass Trek also cover Everest Base Camp to get to the foot of the rooftop of the world and ascend Kalapatthar for the proximity view of Mount Everest and Khumbu glacier.

Three pass trek is challenging trekking because the trekkers need to pass over 5000 meters of mountain passes but it does not require any climbing skills. It can be achieved by all those who are physically sound and determined.

Three Passes Trek in Nepal starts from Lukla. From Lukla, the trail follows the classic Everest Base Camp route via Phakding, Namche Bazaar then to Dingboche. From Dingboche the trail splits Chhukung Valley. Then it goes up with a climb to Kongma La Pass to Lobuche and Everest Base Camp.

Trekking continues over Cho La Pass to Gokyo Lake, then through the Renjo La Pass down to Thame. Then taking the classical route it comes down to Lukla where this adventure trekking ends. From Lukla, you fly back to Kathmandu to end the whole trip.
