Introduction
This tour is designed for people who want to experience Nepal but also would like a short time rafting the white water that Nepal is famous for.After you are collected upon your arrival in Kathmandu rather than do sightseeing of the Kathmandu the following day we journey to Chitwan National Park, on the way we stop for three hours rafting of the Trisuli river before travelling on to Chitwan. Two full days are spent at Chitwan to include a full programme of jungle activities.We leave Chitwan on day four to travel to Pokhara. (there are many descriptions of Pokhara on this web site please refer to a relevant page)
Three nights are spent at Pokhara one of these we spend on a hill top overlooking the lakeside town.The reason for stopping here is there are some superb sunrise views of the Annapurna range to be had.The journey back to Kathmandu is by air early in the morning and rather go directly to the hotel, your luggage is taken back to the hotel and we spend the majority of that day sightseeing within the Kathmandu Valley.There is a final day free for shopping or other activities (that can be arranged) and a final farewell evening meal.The following day you depart to your onward destination.
Itinerary
Day 01 : Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu international airport by our representative, Transfer to Hotel.
Day 02 : Drive to Chitwan (half day rafting on Trisuli river), observe the Tharu culture dance in the evening, Overnight at Jungle Lodge.
Day 03 : Jungle Activities in Chitwan national park like cannoning, Elephant riding, Jungle walk, visit to Elephant breeding center). Overnight at Jungle Lodge.
Day 04 : Bird watching at Chitwan and drive to Pokhara, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 05 : Drive to Sarangkot (nice spot for the sunrise as well as sunset and great Himalayan panorama.), Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06 : Drive back to Pokhara and explore around the famous sites at Pokhara in the afternoon, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07 : Fly back to Kathmandu in the morning, Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley in the afternoon, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08 : Free day in Kathmandu, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 09 : Transfer to Airport. Departure on your own destination.
