The maximum altitude of the trek is 3800m and anyone from any age group with a fair level of fitness can choose to go for Jomsom trek. You will ascend through rice terraces and pass through villages occupied by the local people, typically the Gurungs. As soon as you reach in Tatopani, you can relax in natural hot springs. The magnificence of the Dhaulagiri Glacier comes into view walking further up next to the first sight of the breezy Tibetan raised ground before reaching to the sacred site of Muktinath lying at 3800m. The holy temple includes 108 taps and mystifying natural gas that glows fire eternally.
