14 Days Everest Base Camp trek with Heli tour will begin with an exciting mountain flight to the Tenzing-Hillary airport at Lukla. You will then trek through the appealing Sherpa community Phakding, Namche bazaar. Our path continues to make way up all the way passing through Tengboche, Pheriche, then to Gorakshep and to end with reach Mt. Everest base camp. Subsequently, from Gorakh shep we catch a morning flight of heli to Lukla and take a scenic flight back to Kathmandu.

Day to Day Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

    Arrival in Kathmandu, accord warm welcome / Pick up and transfer to hotel / introduction to staff and briefing. Overnight in Hotel Arts
  • Day 02: Kathmandu: sightseeing and trek preparation

    Guided tour of Kathmandu’s historical and spiritual attractions taking in many of the important valley sites Overnight in Hotel Arts
  • Day 03 : Kathmandu – Lukla (40 min flight) – Phakding; 3-4 hours trek

    Early morning flight to Lukla (2,800m) / final preparations / trek starts / pass Chaurikharka village / make a descent towards the Dudhkosi Ghat (2,530m/8,300ft). The trail follows the bank of the Dudhkosi River until Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft) / overnight. Overnight in Khumbu Travel
  • Day 03 : Kathmandu – Lukla (40 min flight) – Phakding; 3-4 hours trek

    Early morning flight to Lukla (2,800m) / final preparations / trek starts / pass Chaurikharka village / make a descent towards the Dudhkosi Ghat (2,530m/8,300ft). The trail follows the bank of the Dudhkosi River until Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft) / overnight. Overnight in Khumbu Travel
  • Day 04 : Phakding-Namche Bazaar: 5-6 hours

    The trail crosses Dudhkoshi River / long suspension bridge / along the river to Hilary’s Suspension Bridge / trail climbs further from here to Namche Bazaar Overnight in Kongde View
  • Day 05 : Namche Bazaar: Rest day

    This day is a rest day taken for the acclimatization / day hike to Thame / visiting Khunde / relaxing and exploring Namche Bazaar known as the gateway to Mt. Everest Overnight in Kongde View
  • Day 06 : Namche Bazaar- Khumjung: 4 hours

    Start / climb up to the Shyangboche airstrip / just above the airstrip is the Everest View Hotel / Japanese scheme to build a deluxe hotel with great views of the highest mountains on earth. overnight (3,810m/12,500ft). Overnight in Hidden Valley
  • Day 07 : Khumjung-Tengboche: 4-5 hours

    Trail descends slightly to Dudhkoshi at 3250m / steep ascent to famous Tengboche Gompa / stunning background of Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest and other peaks Overnight in Hotel Himalaya
  • Day 08: Tengboche-Dingboche: 5-6 hours

    Slight descent early today through lush forest / gradual climb up to the valleys highest year round settlement of Pangboche (3,860m/12,664ft) / continue ascending in the afternoon / through alpine meadows / yak herds / eventually reaching Dingboche Overnight in Khumbu Resort
  • Day 09 : Dingboche: Rest Day

    The second rest day is taken for the acclimatization at Dingboche. As at Namche Bazaar, there is a side-trip planned from Dingboche, or you can rest. The side trip will wind up the valley to Chhukung for sensational views. Overnight in Khumbu Resort
  • Day 10: Dingboche-Lobuche: 5-6 hours

    Today climb to Duglha (4,620m/15,158ft) / stunning views of Tawachee and Cholatse (6440m) / trail goes up to Khumbu Glacier for an hour then left into the memorial area before reaching the village of Lobuche. (4,930m/12,894ft). By this stage the effects of the altitude will be kicking in and you can expect colder nights. Overnight in Asian Himalaya
  • Day 11 : Lobuche –– Gorakhshep – climb Kala Patthar, approx., 5 – 6 hours

    After breakfast the trail continues climb to Gorak Shep with panoramic Everest Himalayas view / trooping for 2-3 hours through rocky path, then get at the last human settlement, Gorakshep / check in to hotel and after lunch climb Kala Patthar, takes approx., couple of hours up and down where we get to see 360-degree up-close and formidable views of Mt. Everest / feeling blessed return back to Gorakhshep Overnight in Buddha Lodge
  • Day 12 : Gorakhshep – Everest Base Camp – Gorakhshep 4 – 5 hours

    The trail continues climb to Gorak Shep / trail from here now is full of sand pit and boulders then to the Everest Base Camp (5,357m/17,575ft) / sparkling view of Pumori (7,161m) Lingtren (6,749), Khumbutse (6,636m) and Nuptse (7,861m) from EBC / back and overnight at Gorak Shep (5,160m/16,929ft).   • Day 13: Gorak Shep-Lukla by Heli tour then fixed wing (plane) back from Lukla to Kathmandu

    After the breakfast, early morning scenic Helicopter flight from Gorakhshep to Lukla and take flight from Lukla to Kathmandu Overnight in Hotel Arts
  • Day 14: Departure day

    Transfer to airport as per your flight schedule / flight to onward destination with beautiful memory back home
