Day to Day Itinerary

  • Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

    You will be accorded a warm welcome at the airport and then transferred to the hotel and briefing about the tour
  • Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

    After breakfast there will be a tour of the main sights in Kathmandu: Monkey Temple, Durbar Square and Kumari Bahal, UNESCO world heritage sites.
  • Day 03 : Kathmandu – Paro (1 hour flight by Druk Air), drive 54km (2 hours) to Thimphu

    Transfer to Kathmandu airport and fly to Paro./ a spectacular trans Himalayan journey with some fantastic views of the mountains below / the descent through mountainous valleys brings you to the Kingdom of Bhutan / the beautiful airport is your first glimpse of what’s ahead / a warm welcome then a short drive through the valley to Thimphu / the capital of Bhutan / very picturesque drive past rural homes, hillside monasteries and chhortens / takes around one and a half hours / transfer and settle into your hotel / after lunch at a local restaurant commence sightseeing if you wish / visit the Textile Museum, a traditional paper making factory and the Post office to see Bhutan’s beautiful stamps / many of these depict the country’s myths and traditions / otherwise do your own thing walk around the town with your guide / dinner / overnight at Hotel.
  • Day 04: Thimphu – Taktsang – Paro

    In the morning drive to Satsam Chorten / then hike to Takstang (Tiger’s Nest) Monastery, the most photographed Monastery in Bhutan. The monastery was rebuilt after a disastrous fire destroyed it some years ago / it’s open to the public and can be visited / here it said that Guru Padmasambhava landed on the back of a tigeress in the 8th century / after lunch walk back to the road point and visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan / overnight at Hotel
  • Day 05 : Paro – Departure (by Druk Air)

    In the morning, our Bhutanese agent will escort you and bid you farewell at Paro Airport for your flight back to Kathmandu
  • Day 06: Kathmandu – Home

    We will arrange a free transfer from the hotel to the airport for your international flight home with beautiful memory.
