The Langtang Valley is a rich alpine valley abundant in flora and fauna that forms part of the Central Nepal Himalaya, north of Kathmandu.

A journey up the Langtang Valley to the high glaciers is considered to be one of the most rewarding experiences in Nepal.

The region is less frequented by tourists and offers a wilderness experiences without the sometimes long and arduous two or three-day journey often involved in going to more remote regions.

The valley provides many opportunities to experience the culture of the Tamang people who are the main ethnic group here. These people are Tibetan in all aspects of their lives apart from the twenty miles that separates them from Tibet. There are some fascinating local settlements as well as a good opportunity to study wildlife and bird life.

Day to Day Itinerary

  • Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu

  • Day 02 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu

    visits to many historical and architectural monuments

  • Day 03 : Helicopter Tour to Langtang

    This 1 hour and 30 minutes tour commences from Tribhuvan International Airport for a truly exceptional flight into the heart of the Langtang Valley / The rewards / a breathtakingly beautiful display of Himalayas on the way up and back and some time to take in this amazing hidden valley / land in the valley for around thirty minutes before your flight back to Kathmandu.

  • Day 04 : Relaxation and shopping in Kathmandu

    Relaxation and shopping in Kathmandu / farewell dinner in a Nepali restaurant with Nepali cultural show.

  • Day 05 : As per the flight schedule, transfer to airport / flight to onward destination
