The Dhaulagiri Himal is a little bit special even in such a special country like Nepal. It is more remote and a lot less visited than the Annapurna region the regions are seperated by The Kali Gandaki gorge the deepest gorge in the world. The Dhaulagiri range includes some fifteen peaks above 7000m and many hidden and remote valleys high passes and large stretches of clear open vistas. If you are considering a trek here you will be up for some challenging terrain and it is a relatively strenuous but for trekkers willing to spend their holidays amid some fantastic nature, peace and tranquility the trek is extremely rewarding.Mount Dhaulagiri (8137m) the seventh highest peak in the world stands dominant solid and strong and in the mountaineering franternity it is known as a particularly difficult mountain to summit.
