Arun Valley Trek

 

This region is blessed with an incredible diversity of natural beauty and culture. Arun valley trek is between two highest mountains, Everest and Makalu. It is really a non touristy area but we can see significant views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, and hundreds of other mountains just on your eye. Sherpa, Rai and Limbus are the main inhabitants of this region. Walking north up the Arun river to Seduwa and Num, then crossing Barun La(4110m.)into the upper Barun Khola valley for a close look at Makalu. You can put together an even wilder trek by crossing Sherpini Col and west Col into the upper Hongu valley. The highest point of this trek is Salpa Bhanjyang and also we can visit Hindu holy call Lake Salpa holy Lake (3414m).

Itinerary in Details

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu. Welcome and receive from airport and transfer to Hotel. Introductory program and briefing about the entire trip.

Day 02 : City tour in Kathmandu valley which includes the visits to many histirical and architectural monuments of ancient Kathmandu. overnight at hotel

Day 03 : Fly to Biratnagar and start drive to Hile, overnight at tented camp

Day 04 : Trek to Mong Maya Khola, overnight at tented camp

Day 05 : Trek to Surti Bari, overnight at tented camp

Day 06 : Trek to Tumlingtar, overnight at tented camp

Day 07 : Trek to Kartike Ghat, overnight at tented camp

Day 08 : Trek to Gothey, overnight at tented camp

Day 09 : Trek to Salpa Phedi, overnight at tented camp

Day 10 : Trek to Guranse after crossing Salpa La Pass, overnight at tented camp

Day 11 : Trek to Sanam, overnight at tented camp

Day 12 : Trek to Bung, overnight at tented camp

Day 13 : Trek to Gai Kharka, overnight at tented camp

Day 14 : Trek to Vasme, overnight at tented camp
